How to Cut The Wrappers:
There are two wrappers per printable sheet, with light gray tick marks on the edges to show where to cut out the wrappers. Below is a sample image pointing out where the light gray tick marks will be on your printable sheet, in case they are hard to see on your PDF. If you have any problems or questions, please let me know!
How to Wrap the Wrappers:
The Hershey® company states that you MUST leave the Hershey® wrapper ON the candy bar. You will be wrapping your customized wrapper OVER the Hershey® wrapper. This is for food safety as well as trademark reasons.
If you have purchased foil sheets to use with your wrappers, you will wrap the foil around the bar first.
First, fold the edges of the vacuum-sealed Hershey® wrapper to the back. You can use tape to keep them in place if you prefer.
Then wrap and tape the foil sheet around the candy bar, like you would a present. Center the candy wrapper on candy bar, like shown in photo below.
Wrap the top edge around the candy bar towards the back.
Apply glue or double-stick tape to the entire length of the top edge. Wrap bottom edge up and around the bar.
Tightly secure it to the top edge, where you just applied glue/tape. Make sure to line up the sides of the top and bottom edges to keep wrapper straight.
Be careful to avoid getting glue on the wrappers, as that will pull the ink off the paper and could ruin the image.
If you are using a glue stick, it’s a good idea to keep a slightly moist cloth nearby while wrapping – use it to keep your fingers clean and glue-free.
